hi mom. 
if there is much dandruff over the head it can be a cradle cap
cradle cap usually clears by its own in few months. 
keep the scalp area clean. 
gently massage the baby's scalp by the fingers to loosen the scales. then lightly and gently brush your baby's hair to further loosen the scales by using a soft brush. 
do not forcibly remove it. 
you can apply pure oil all such as coconut oil almond oil or olive oil. 
if the scalp area is red in colour and looks like infection then please consult a pediatrician.
