A. Newborns may develop neonatal jaundice within the first two weeks, causing yellowing of the skin and eyes. Consult a doctor for evaluation. Mild jaundice often resolves with breastfeeding, but severe cases may require phototherapy. Eye yellowness may take 1 to 1.5 months to disappear completely.
