How to properly latch a baby for Brest feeding my baby is 22 days old and he is only nipple feeding not breast feeding

A. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment. takde plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself. take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by thex doctor.

A. second ,give feeds whenever your child is hungry or wake up from sleep or you may try it at gap of 2 or 3 hours. you can experiment with different feeding positions like cradle position, cross cradle position etc ask help from your family member while feeding your child.

A. hi yes , initial days with newborns are very hard especially related to breastfeeding so for this ,first I advise to check if you have flat nipple problem or not ,if it is so then I would suggest to use Babyhug nipple shield which makes easy for a child to latch on well.
