give finger food like thin slice of banana, or avocado, steamed sliced pear or apple, steamed potatoes, carrot, sweet potato, puff rice, dal chawal, thick soup.

As kids imitate elders they like plating arrangment like elders , making rice balls, roti pieces helps them in avoiding choking or eating large bites.
Try different recipes with regular items like stuffed roti with veggies, paneer,egg,meat,meat balls, omlet or egg curry, Mixed vegetables or vegetable pulav /kichdi with rice, Dalia, sooji,,seviyan millets., ajwain/Jeera rice,curd rice with vegetables or Fruits garnished finely chopped, lemon rice...
