How to know if baby has dry cough or cough with sputum??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough is a response of the body defence mechanism where the respiratory tract tries to expel the external factors by producing excess of mucous and cough reflex.
Most offw the times it's infective in origin . Viral infection are most common.
A proper examination is required before giving any medication.
Antitussive / bronchodilator/ expectorant medicine are given as per need.

Well , let the doctor decide.
you should give her breast feeding as and when she demands
mom should not use the food that causes cold and cough
take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
