ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 weeks agoA. dear mum the total fluid intake of child should be 1.3 lt in 24 hours.
but this not only includes water but also includes fluid in food, breastmilk.
so a better way to know if child is getting enough fluids is to check urine.
if baby passing urine more than 7 times in a day, urine is light-coloured or colourless then getting enough hydration.
vritikaMom of a 3 yr 1 m old boy3 weeks agoA. the water intake will become less during winters due to change in weather.
you can give 2 to 3 cups of water to the baby through out the day.
you can even give juice or coconut water to keep the baby well hydrated during the day time at room temperature.
give only fresh coconut water and juice and not packed ones.
