how much water required for 6month baby?? means in ml??

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician6 years agoA. hi, water fir six month old it is good to give maximum upto 30 to 45 ml of water. This doesn’t mean plain water alone. The water content in soups , coconut water, dal paani etc all counts here in the above measurement.

It's generally advised by doctors that your baby shouldn't drink water until he's about 6 months old and after that you can start giving few sips of water every now and then ( no more then 60 ml in 24 hours)....baby gets all the hydration needed from breast milk or formula, even in hot weather. Once your baby is 6 months old, it's okay to give him sips of water when he's thirsty.
