Q.

How much dose of vit a to be given at completion of 9months today she got MMRvaccine on medicine its written 2ml for children of 9month old??? Pls help

A. 2lakh units to be given usually vitamin a deficiency can occur in children if the diet is not proper. in maintenance dosage it is usually given at the end of 9 months and then at the end of 15 months and then between 4 years to 5 years of age and usually given along with mmr vaccination. in between any extra dosage is required or not will be decided by the doctor.
