A. Saline nasal drops can be used safely several times a day to relieve nasal congestion in babies. Typically, you can apply 2-3 drops in each nostril up to 4-6 times per day, or as needed, to help clear the baby's nasal passages. Saline drops are non-medicated and just help moisten and loosen the mucus, making it easier for the baby to breathe. However, be mindful of your baby's comfort. If you're noticing irritation or if the congestion persists, consult your pediatrician for further advice.
