what exactly you meant by saying oots ? is it roots ? if that it is , then the answer is yes, you can as gradually as the baby accepts solids gradually increase the variety and include foods form varied food groups,

Give your child a well balanced, healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day along with daily breastfeeding. Good luck and take care.
