Not getting enough fluid can also lead to constipation, because it makes the stools harder.Encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids. Stick to water or water with just a splash of fruit juice.Get your child moving. Exercise stimulates digestion and helps prevent constipations Stock up on fiber-rich foods.Institute some sort of reward system. Use petroleum jelly.
