Hlo doctor's nd mummy's my baby is 25 months old. He is suffering from fever since today afternoon. I consult doc nd his medicine was started. I want to know , can I use wet towel on his forehead to decrease the temperature? Or only hand to deep into the water nd gently touching his forehead?

Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. 
But if fever is high grade and persisting  or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen  or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Colgd sponghing with lukewarm water is also helpful . 
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability  dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .
