A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever / pain / irritability usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 5 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes.
