hi sir my baby is 8 weeks old. she is on breast feeds ... last 3 days fed with formula feed daily once ... not pooped since 4 days, urinated 10 to 12 times... yesterday she passed 3 large loose stools. kindly suggest .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies.
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided befonh re 1 year of age

Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
