hi sir my baby got 100 degree fever today morning i consult a doctor he prescribe me a one atibiotic and paracetamal and cough srupy... after giving tthese drops .. the temperature and head hot was not reduce.temperature is alse not decrease showing 100. i dont known the reason... plz give how reduce head hot and fever ..

the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
to body spongge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medivcines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

Crocin or Calpol you can give I don’t know why your doctor has given antibiotic for fever you have to give these medicines which is based on paracetamol so you can give that and also you can do cold sponging that really helps a lot in reducing down the temperature
