hi sir,meftal p syrup is safe or not prescribed by my doctor

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundredx or more is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicinesx (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

If it was not safe trust me or Dr would have never advised you to use it for the child because doctors have a better knowledge as to what is going to be more suitable and write for your child at a particular age for a particular issue that you are visiting your doctor for
