Q.

Hi.. one of my unmarried friend missed her periods for almost 3 months.. I have told her that it may be the symtom of PCOD... How can she check that she has PCOD or not.. Plz tell

A. Hello dear. it is advisable that she consult a gynecologist in person because sometimes it could be other hormonal causes like hypothyroidism that might cause alterations in the periods. A. irregular period, sudden weight gain increase facial hair are some symptoms of pcod.. you should consult the doctor regarding and follow the doctor.. irregular period could be change in hormone levels, or change in sugar levels thyroid levels BP.
