Q.

Hi my son is 1 year old... and he is having fever of 101°c within 3-4 hours gap after giving calpol 250 syrup . Doctor told it's a viral fever... so how many days will it take to get cure... it's already 3rd day of fever today.

A. hello mam, viral fever usually takes five to seven days to go away. it is suggested to give the medicines given by the doctor and complete the full course. keep the baby well hydrated. give plenty of water and fresh fruit juices. you can also give coconut water to the baby.
