Hi my son has coughing all night please suggest any emergency medicine for him?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only aftfer a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce thef fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U Can give Darbar Honitus if you have that right now to go for otherwise just the best solution is ginger juice and honey mixture to your child that’s going to give instant relief but don’t give any water on top of that for at least half an hour and also you can nebulise your child if you want to
