Q.
Hi , my daughter is passing more gas even though she stool passing. gas smells bad.. what might be the reason ? did I miss anything to control? please suggest if anything wrong.,

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 1 month old and she is getting a gas trouble so burp her properly after every baby feeding and give her 5 drops of neopeptine twice a day

It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also.
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool
Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal ₹
