Q.

Hi, my daughter is 92 days (3months 1day) old, she is having cold and she is not able to sleep properly since her nose is getting blocked. Please let me know if there are any suggestions to make her sleep better

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever whidech nefeds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. Hi parent you can use Babyhug aspirator for your child it is very helpful please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with musterd oil with infusion of garlic pod please give daily sun light exposure
