Hi my daughter is 4.5 months old and doctor had prescribed trifer iron drops 0.5 ml to be given for 150 days. Is it mandatory? I had this doubt as vitamin d drops is prescribed by all doctors but iron drops are not prescribed by all doctors. Hence the doubt. Thank you

A. babies 4.5 months old so yes whenever you shift from mother milk to solid food out of its identification C can occur so to cover it up doctor usually give iron drops to baby
