Q.

Hi, my daughter is 2.5 yrs old. At this age, should we give any supplements for calcium, iron, vitamin D? We are not giving any such supplements as of now!

A. No need if the child is eating well growing well abd daily playing outdoors for atleast an hour so it’s absolutely fine to not give any additional supplements to tue child

A. there is no need to give unless the baby is having deficiency otherwise traditional foods seasonal fruits and vegetables will meet the requirement of vitamins and minerals in the baby
