Hi.... My daughter is 1yr old.... She has cold with sneezing for the last 2days...she has been medicating with FLUCOLD syrup nd Saline nasal drops as she has some itching nose... From today mrng she has some cough... I have given Honey, a small spoon. Planned to use Vicks Baby rub for chest nd massage... We have planned for a Hill trip (Kodaikanal) by tomorrow... Is it ok to take her with us??? Pls kindly advice me in this and also the prep nd precautions i have taken are correct.. Thanks in advance....

Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose.
Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor
