Q.

Hi.. my baby was having loose motions last week for 4-5 days and I took him to doctor on Thursday. After medicine he was ok yesterday but today morning he was having slight fever and he has done black coloured potty 3 times since morning… now tomorrow is Sunday… what should I do… I am very worried now…

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever andnfv vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
