A. Once the baby completes 6 months you can start with the solid food. you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato,sweet potato,carrot, Pureed fruits, porridges of rawa or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.i ll suggest you should ask baby's pediatrician if you have concerns regarding this

A. after completing 6 months you have to start with liquid foods like moong dal Pani, overcooked Khichdi, Daliya.. you also introduce some seasonal fresh fruits like mashBanana ,mash sweet potato, boiled and mash potato carrot soup..
Also you have to give food in every three to four hours gap.. and give two times breastfeeding
Make sure you follow the 3 day rule with all new foods to be aware of any allergy. and start giving food in a small quantity first
Always be in the room with your baby when he’s eating.
. With a new food, introduce small amounts at a time.
