Q.
Hi my baby is 7 months old .. she always wants to breastfeed for sleep . Even in day times .. she sleeps on my shoulder but if I put her in bed she cries and wants to be.. if sleep s disturbed also she cries for bf.. coz of this I’m stuck in home .. how to change this habit ,. Ll it become like thumb sucking ? Pls suggest something

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. this may also be due to colic pain . Colic pain is common in infancy . To avoid you should feed only mother milk and burp well after every feeding . Unienzyme drop can be given 2 to 3 times for gas also .

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. for comfort purpose baby will use breast for comfort and safety. Even when they are not hungry. They just wanna suck for comfort nothing else. They feel secure doing it so especially more at night times. Until you stop feeding this would continue justvfor comfort purpose.
