hi my baby is 5 and half months old my sister gave her few drops of honey I'm scared please help me

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Don't give your baby any honey before she's a year old,because honey can, very occasionally, contain a spore of a bacterium called clostridium botulinum. This can cause a rare form of food poisoning (botulism) in babies.keep a watch on her.

Hello Raw honey is not supposed to be given to the child before the age of one year it can create a stomach infection to the child which is my doctor say absolutely no for honey even after the age of six months and your child is too small you cannot give anything to the child apart from breastfeeding
