hi..my baby is 5.5 months now ..he is having hard stool or constipation for the past three days..he is currently on breast feed and two time on formula feed..what would be the reason?

normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.e
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.d
also do not give any food to the child except milk at this age.

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It might be due to teething in the baby. Please give homeopathic medicine BC21  to the baby. Also massage baby gums with clean cotton cloth. Please massage baby stomach with BabyHug  coconut oil clockwise and anti-clockwise. You can also apply hing water on baby stomach. Also do some cycling leg exercises of the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Please make the baby burp after every feed. Mother should chew saunf and ajwain after every meal.
