Q.

hi, my baby is 3months I'm giving clamp suspension to her for ear infection because of which loose watery stools are happening how to control this diarrhea while using antibiotics

A. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days . For any specific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hydration . try to avoid giving excessive milk ok and can give khichdi mashed potato ripe banana poha if the baby is above 6 months of age, maintain phroper hydration by giving plenty of fluids.
