hi my baby is 16 months old and he is not standing from sitting position by own he needs support to stand up

A. But if your child is otherwise walking without support and all then there is no problem just try and encourage your child to reach the milestone of standing without taking any support still if the problem is there and check with the doctor as it could be due to deficiency of calcium and vitamin D
