Q.

Hi, My 5 month baby was suffering from vomitings and we are giving domstal by doctors advice. She has developed cough and she has throat conjunction and no runny nose. Can I give her nebulisation with saline drops.

A. better to give medicines only after consulting doctor there can be chances of secondary infection Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
