Whenever you get a new dress don’t tell your child it’s a new dress okay take of the tags and everything wash it properly before you give it to the child and say this is an old dress only but it was oversized for you that time that is why you were not wearing it but now it is going to fit your size so you are wearing it I don’t buy new clothes for you because you don’t like wearing it so I borrowed it from your cousin or something like that you can say that is how the things are going to change some kids get somewhere fuzzy somewhere or the other with new logic but you just have to deal with them patiently and smartly
