Hi mam, im giving both fm and breastfeeding to my 3 month baby but now he rejects breastfeeding and wants only bottle feeding, what should I do, im worried he cries alot, i was having low milk supply that's why i gave him bottle feeding, plz suggest me any solution

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear with bottle feeding there is nipple confusion and baby might reject breast also bottle feeding takes less effort so baby prefer bottle
if baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hours is active alert and gaining adequate weight then breastfeeding is sufficient
if still facing difficulty lactation consultant can help assess and help in solution

If u will give formula milk then the milk supply will reduce as it depends upon the demand..
The more you feed the more milk production will be there.
Give breast milk when the baby is in deep sleep.
avoid giving bottle feed as much as u can
