hi, I saw white patches on baby's head. she is one and half week of age.is it a serious issue.

White spots on the body and face could be some fungal infection or some conditions like pityriasis Alba which is aggravated by dryness of the skin it needs proper clinical evaluation by the doctor. Proper mousturisation of skin is very impocrtant and maintain a good hygiene .

I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper diagnosis and treatment
