Q.

Hi, I have started solids for my baby who has completed 6 months along with regular breastfeeding. When we gave smashed chikko noticed the baby was pooping more when compared to usual days so what foods can be given to baby until the diarrhea stops

A. Namaste Mom, When you introduce any solids or weaning foods apart from the your feed, it is always preferable to start with liquid consistency foods first such as dal, rice water, vegetable soup, fresh fruit juices etc , once they accept it well enough then gradually start with semi solids . that too initially in small quatities

A. Hi, I actually started with the steamed & blended puree of carrot, apple, pumpkin, banana & beetroot along with rice & dal porridge which all were accepted by baby but then only initiated with smashed chikko which ended with diarrhea from last 1 day. So what foods can be given now to stop the diarrhea
