Q.

Hi, I have a baby of 43 days old baby. She passes motion in very small amount and cries while doing so. Her bump is red and she is having discomfort because of this as well.

A. it is ok for baby . Infant may not pass stool daily or may pass many times with gas . Both are normal . If not passing till 7 days then glycerine suppository can be used for the lubrication of the area .
