hi Dr. Trishita, can we give a 4 month old baby something for gas .. he sometimes gets a lot of gas and acidity. Due to which he doesn't feed properly. Also, nowadays he wants to bite in things .. seems like more irritated sometimes and he cries if we don't give him something to lick and bite .. is it because of sore gums.. ? should we give calcarea phos. now for the teething.. ?

A. Thank you for reaching out to us with this question.please note that if he has sore gum ypu can give him a teether to chew on or even massage his gums eith absolutely clean hands.please also you can offer colic aid if your baby has colic issues.
