Hi Dr, i am having 39dys baby girl she doesn't sleep at nyt iknow some childrens are not went sleep at nyt but they are sleep at day tym but my baby doesn't sleep day tym also she sleep only 6-7hrs per day mostly newborn babies are slept 17-18hrs iam worried about that 😒

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. yes this is quite ok and so for a good sound sleep make sure baby room is comfortable and calm.
Baby should be well fed at bed time. You should make baby wear comfortable clothing at bed time. Sing a lullaby or light music can be used.
Can rock or pat the baby to sleep.
