Q.

Hi doctor, There is a crack in my nipple, it looks like tiny bubble and it burns too much while feeding my baby, so I'm not able to feed properly, so please suggest me what can be done to get rid of this crack and burning sensation. And can I continue breastfeeding when there is a crack?? and is it harmful for baby??

A. Use Boroline anti septic cream regularly and cover it with a cabbage leaf and when you have to feed your child just open it clean it properly and feed the child and after finishing the feet just do the same thing again also you can use nipple shield for the time being this will help in reducing down the pain when you’re feeding the child
