hi doctor my son is 21 months old and he is not verbally active he speaks only 5 to 6 words and nothing more than that I tried reading story to him talking to him but still he is not speaking...should I be alarmed about this...?

A. If Your child is listening and responding to you properly and understanding everything then don’t worry about it if it is just a little bit of speech delay then that’s fine you can just get a check with the doctor if you want to otherwise you can wait up till the age of three years
