Q.

hi doctor my baby is formula fed from birth nan pro 1.. is it still necessary to give vitamin syrup daily?? somehow she doesn't like that taste.. whereas she will accept to drink vit d3 syrup daily

A. no if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to give any health supplements or calcium or multivitamins to the child but if it is less than your doctor will examine and according to the deficiency the doctor will give medicine but it is at the same time advisable to go natural by giving diet as per age ozf the child which contains all the important nutrients and supplements. usually yzou have to give only iron and vitamin d supplements to the child but that also in maintenance dosage and not as a deficiency dosage after medical consultation.

A. Hello mom No there is no need to give any medication to your baby till it is not advised by Dr. If your doctor is advising to give any multivitamin syrup to your baby then only you have to give medication otherwise not. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk formula milk and there is no need to give anything else
