Hi Doctor.. my baby is 7 months old. He caught cold and Only after 7 days we visited the Doc. There she suggested T minic oral drops (0.7 ml). (But on the cover it's advised not to use below 4 years of age). Is it really ok to use for a baby below 1 year?

A. certain cough syrups containing phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate have been banned for use in children under 4 years old. please speake about it to your pediatrician

A. Yes it is a safe medicine the doctor must have advised you with the paediatric drops and that you can be given to the child so need not worry about it in case of any doubt about the medicine that you are giving you kindly crosscheck with your doctor once
