Hi Doctor My baby is 6months 16 days old. He is sneezing. He suffering from cold & cough.. He have Runny nose. pls suggest medication.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases dgalong with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which neexds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
