hi doctor my baby is 5months and 23 days..since 5days she is passing green color stools around 8-10times like phelm though my baby is active ..as my baby is suffering with cold.my pediatrician gave some syrups..as he said due to cold motion color will change and also suggested my diet...please suggest is it normal

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Yes your doctor is right as due to cold the colour of motion changes and it might be with little mucous as well so follow your doctor advice and complete the course of medicine

Yes If the child is having cold or your child is on formula feed then there are bright chances of a child passing green coloured motion so need not worry about it just continue with the medicine to the doctor has given you and once this issue subside the colour of the motion will also change
