my baby is 9 months old .He is not showing intrest to eat or drink anything .Can medicine be given to baby to increase appetite? is it due to teething ? How long does teething symptoms happen .Baby seems to be ok with no cold or fever symptoms.

I tried to ask the same with my doctor he has mentioned weight gain is there then not need to give medicine to improve appetite but baby  is not showing intrest to eat or drink anything except water may be due to weather .

it is very common that small children did not so much interest in eating food. it is important to meet the doctor to find which type of nutritional deficiency is present and according to that only give supplements to the child which will help in increasing the appetite and at the same time give plenty of water and juice extracted from fruits

Hello ma’am yes could b teething As whatever you are mentioning in your queries quite common during that time so as of now if a child is happy having good amount of breastfeed and milk or maybe any other liquid then go ahead with that try to feed the food you know like porridge and khichadi into semi-liquid consistency is that your child can easily swallow it
