Q.

hi doctor i am mom for 8 months old boy..i am facing joint pain in right leg feet and both hips ..doctor recommended bon dk tablet for 3 months ..i have stifness in morning while waking up ..i fear it would be rhematic arthritis ..before three months i was taking shelcal 250 mg daily..now bon dktablet once in a week...i am confused whether to take shelcall daily or bon dk once in a week ?if shell cal what is the right mg for lactating mom?or any rheumatoid test needed? my blood calium and hb level normal .i have pain now too tired ..please guide me .

A. hi please consult your treating doctor for proper medication. at home, take calcium rich food like ragi, nuts, dairy products etc more. keep your body well hydrated avoid taking RO water take apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day don't sit or stand for long period. maintain good hygiene
