Hi doctor, Good morning I have breast pain, lumps and engorgement in the breasts.As I have stopped breastfeeding from Saturday night. I used to feed only during the night. Today morning I took diclofenac as it was paining so much. Can you please advise

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician11 months agoA. You can take paracetamol as it will subside pain abd apply warm compress around the breast to relieve pain abd manually express milk or use a breast pump to relieve the clogged milk ducts if you have at home otherwise do it manually

Do hot compress at least 3 to 4 times in the day and check with your doctor she’ll advise you the medicine which will slowly help in drying up your breastfeed maybe you have quit suddenly which is why the body still making milk sufficiently so the medicine is going to be very helpful for you
