Hi doctor can u suggest medicine for high fever

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. You can give paracetamol to the child when the temperature is 100 or more in the armpit of the child.
Paracetamol can be repeated m m maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge and give plenty of fluids to drink to prevent dehydration.
Higher medicines like ibugesic for meftal p is advised by the doctor if required.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever

I suggest you please consult your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination is important for proper diagnosis and treatment
