Q.
Hi doc, when my baby is taking breath there is noise ….. n my baby have cough n cold from 1 week we are giving steam & medicine but still there is no improvement!! But it’s getting worse …… now when he breath he breath with so much noise 24/7 & when I touch his chest his noisy to……. Please tell me what can I do to get relief

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes and temperature variations around the child.
For cold you can give drops maxtra / wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal blockage and simple cough and cold. Indirect steam will also help.
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
For fever and pain give paracetamol.
